In a golden light we look down on an enchanting river scene. The towering aspen, maple and evergreens wrap this river valley in their embrace as brisk autumn clouds are blown across the golden sky. Happily ensconced in the wood is a charming stone cottage, surrounded by blossoms of the many flowers that live there. The windows are aglow with a welcoming light from within. Dappled sunlight spills across the cottage and lawn in an ever-changing display of shifting light and shadow. A pair of whitetail deer pauses just across the river for a drink.
As our gaze follows the path up the riverbank past the bubbling rapids, it crosses a covered bridge into a snug and sun-washed village. To the left, we see the valley recede into a hidden clearing and farther into the distant hills.
The sense of timelessness expands and we can tell that this little valley will always be here, waiting to take us into its safe embrace.
